A relatively dry, seasonally saturated interdune swale co-dominated by needle-pod rush (Juncus scirpoides var. scirpoides), saltmeadow cordgrass (Spartina patens), and other grasses.  Behind frontal dunes in False Cape State Park and Natural Area Preserve, City of Virginia Beach.
