High-Elevation Outcrop Barren (Black Chokeberry Igneous / Metamorphic Type) – CEGL008508
Roan Mountain goldenrod (Solidago roanensis) flowering in a shrubland at Listening Rock, on south slope of Haw Orchard Mountain, Grayson County, Grayson Highlands State Park.  This is the southermost known occurrence of the black chokeberry type of high-elevation outcrop barren.
