Stand of the globally rare Central Appalachian Hemlock / Catawba Rhododendron Forest at the head of Little Wilson Creek on Warm Springs Mountain, Bath County.  Most of the hemlocks in the stand were still alive in 2016, although damaged by adelgid defoliation.  The Nature Conservancy Warm Springs Mountain Preserve.
