Coastal Plain Calcareous Seepage Swamp – CEGL006413

A subset of Coastal Plain calcareous seepage swamps near the James River contain bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) among the more typical trees.  This stand is in the Grove Eccentric ravine near the Carter's Grove Historical Plantation in James City County.
