Coastal Plain Calcareous Seepage Swamp – CEGL006413
American false-hellebore (Veratrum viride) and royal fern (Osmunda spectabilis) in a Coastal Plain calcareous seepage swamp along a tributary of the Corrotoman River northeast of Lancaster Courthouse, Lancaster County.  The false-hellebore is one of several significant mountain disjuncts that occur here in the outer Coastal Plain.  Hickory Hollow State Natural Area Preserve.
