Ridge and Valley Calcareous Spring Marsh (Arrow-Arum - Water Smartweed Type) – CEGL006244
By late summer, in the spring marsh along Long Marsh Run, the flooding has diminished and forbs such as broad-leaved arrowhead (Sagittaria latifolia var. pubescens), orange jewelweed (Impatiens capensis), and New York ironweed (Vernonia noveboracensis) have assumed dominance over the earlier-season graminoids; near Wickliffe, Clarke County.
