Wet-mesic grassland of big bluestem (Andropogon gerardii), indian grass (Sorghastrum nutans), common threesquare (Schoenoplectus pungens var. pungens), and rigid sedge (Carex tetanica).  On slightly elevation island in Abrams Creek, just outside the western city limits of Winchester, Frederick County.
