Shenandoah Valley Prairie Fen - CEGL006170

Late summer/early fall aspect of the prairie fen along Folly Mills Creek in Augusta County, with forbs now dominating.  Great blue lobelia (Lobelia siphilitica), cowbane (Oxypolis rigidior), swamp lousewort (Pedicularis lanceolata), and purple false foxglove (Agalinis purpurea) are all abundant and flowering.  Folly Mills Fen State Natural Area Preserve.
