Bald Cypress - Mixed Tupelo Intermediate Swamp – CEGL007432

Dragon Swamp in the central part of the Coastal Plain is the northernmost Virginia drainage in which alluvial swamps with bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) occur.  This stand is in The Nature Conservancy's Dragon Run Preserve near New Dragon Bridge, Middlesex County.
