Bald Cypress - Water Tupelo Brownwater Swamp – CEGL007431

DCR-DNH Southeastern Region Steward Darren Loomis with some of the old-age bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) and water tupelo (Nyssa aquatica) trees at Cypress Bridge State Natural Area Preserve along the Nottoway River in Southampton County.  The largest of these are in the 10 to 12-ft DBH range.
