Extensive recruitment of sapling pitch pines (Pinus rigida) into a bog following a fire.  Along North Fork Stony Creek, in valley between Peters Mountain and Fork Mountain, Giles County.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
