Applicants proposing land disturbance activities in Resource Protection Areas (RPAs) are required to submit to the local government a Water Quality Impact Assessment (WQIA). Local government staff use information in the WQIA to evaluate the environmental impacts of proposed land disturbances, development, and/or redevelopment within the locally designated RPA. These forms, developed by DCR - CBLA staff, may need to be amended to include site-specific conditions or to be consistent with local ordinances and conditions.
The following are local government on-site sewage system guidance documents, factsheets, pump-out notifications and a DCR - CBLA septic pump-out tracking database with instructions for use.
This section of the Resource Library provides users with access to public educational materials from local governments and DCR - CBLA. Citizens looking for information related to a specific locality's Bay Act program not found here are encouraged to contact staff of that locality.
