Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Great American Campout at Natural Bridge State Park

June 23, 2018. 6:30 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.

Bring your tent, lawn chairs, snacks, water, and binoculars for our second annual Great American Campout at Natural Bridge State Park. We will offer guests the opportunity to campout in the group campsite for this event. Tent set-up begins at 6:00 p.m. and star talks begin at 9:00 p.m. This is primitive camping, and guests will be allowed to stay at the park until 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 24. Each tent has a limit of 6 people, and there is an $8 fee per tent to be paid at the Visitor Center.
