Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.


Virginia State Parks Gift Show Buyer Registration

Wytheville Meeting Center

Sign up by March 1 to attend the show. It's free. Buyers may also register in-person at the show. You'll find products that improve sales, learn about vendors who make purchasing a cinch, and meet others involved in wholesale merchandizing and retailing. This letter provides more details, such as hotel discounts, hours, a chance to win a goody bag, etc. Also, check out the vendors who will be there displaying their wares.

Show rules:

Buyers will need to show a picture ID and a business card at the check in booth.

To maintain a professional atmosphere no one under 18 years of age will be admitted. No strollers or rolling carts will be allowed (No exceptions).

The photography of any exhibit is expressly prohibited without the written consent of the exhibitor.

This is not a cash and carry show. No merchandise will be sold at or during the show.

No outside food or drinks are permitted in the Wytheville Meeting Center. Snacks and drinks are available at the information desk for a minimal cost.
