No hustle and less bustle is what makes Virginia State Parks #1
You know there is nothing worse than driving in bumper to bumper traffic, wait, and yes there is, driving it in the rain. Oh and of course driving it every work day, that is worse. Once in a while we can handle it, struggle through it, bite our nails, sip our to-go coffee in what some call "the rate race," but we certainly don't enjoy it.
Typical traffic and road conditions at Shenandoah River State Park
As I sat and inched along, looking at every interstate sign that read "food ahead" or "lodging ahead" I saw all those busy brands that bombard us on the radio, magazines, TV ads and online. But then even as I considered the idea of chewing off my leg to escape the metal trap, I began to daydream about my relaxing summer vacation at a Virginia State Park.

I could see it in their eyes, these are the same people who don't want to turn around and head to a "big city" for their vacations. Big cities can't avoid it so they market their noise, traffic and pollution by calling it "hustle and bustle."
All those people sitting stuck in traffic, this is what they want, and this is what they long for:
Hurry up we're waiting for you
