International Mountain Bikers Association says

Douthat State Park (pronounced "doubt-that") is a gem in the Appalachian Mountains of south central Virginia. The park encompasses more than 4,500 acres and, in addition, is surrounded by the George Washington National Forest, offering many opportunities for backcountry exploration. Within the park boundaries, you will find over 40 miles of trails to match whatever level of challenge you choose.

Beginning with Douthat’s creation in 1936, many of the trails and park infrastructure were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps and still bear the CCC's signature handywork. Miles of well-executed bench cut trails leading from cabins to vistas are the trademark of a ride in the park.

How do YOU pronounce it?
“DOW-thut” “Doo-that”? Is it “Doubt-hat?”
“Do that?” or is it something else different altogether?

This reviewer from Virginia Beach, VA May 5, 2014 called it "Outstanding!" on Trip Advisor.
This reviewer from Indian Land, South Carolina called it “The best of the best state parks” and went on to say:

"It has cabins that are old on the outside and modern on the inside. The cabins come with everything you need for a stay. There are lodges with individual rooms and primitive camp sites.

A small boating lake and a good looking beach. Many hiking trails and some horse trails. This park is not on the beaten path. It is up in the mountains and has magnificent views."
