FlowFest is a full day of family, food, and fun at Fairy Stone
What better way to celebrate all things Americana over the July 4 weekend, than with a day outdoors in the park?
Add live music, good eats, and it’s all to benefit a worthy cause – that’s FlowFest at Fairy Stone State Park on Saturday, July 2.
FlowFest at Fairy Stone State Park is presented as a benefit for Caring Hearts Free Clinic
The Rural Music Coalition is presenting “FlowFest,” a mega-musical program at Fairy Stone State Park to benefit the Caring Hearts Free Clinic of Patrick County. In addition, the Reynolds Homestead supports this cooperative community effort by presenting their July “Music in the Park” offering at FlowFest.

Les Moore and his trio bring the blues to FlowFest at Fairy Stone State Park
To celebrate the Fourth of July weekend, FlowFest will present a full day of concerts on Saturday by gifted and well-loved musicians including:
The Les Moore Trio, Slick Junior and The Reactors, The Lone Ivy String Band, The F.A.R.M. T.E.A.M., Sergio Gonzales & Marcie Horne, Silvertree and Lora Mahaffey. You won’t hear this great mix of good music anywhere else. This music runs the gamut from Americana and rock sounds to blues and jazz with plenty of traditional music for everyone.
FlowFest will have great food vendors, Hylton's BBQ and Fried Fish. For kids, balloon animals and “Happy’s Faces” face painting is free from 12 noon until 3 p.m.
Face painting for the kids is free from noon 'til 3 p.m.
This is a wonderful community collaboration working together again this year to celebrate the holiday weekend. In addition to the Reynolds Homestead, support for the event comes from Boyce-Holland Veterinary, Bassett Furniture, Wal-Mart, Lowe’s Foods, and Piedmont Mechanical.
Once you are in Fairy Stone State Park, there are trails and paddle boat rentals, and a beautiful swimming beach (additional fee)….lots of fun for the whole family.
Bring your favorite lawn chair and relax in the shade to your favorite music in the out of doors, rain or shine. For more information visit FlowFest Patrick County on Facebook.
