Demonstrations and the arts and crafts fair begin at 10 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. each day. Visit traditional artisans and crafters specializing in apple farming, basket weaving, blacksmithing, soap making, quilting and knitting. Arts and crafts booths will offer handmade items for sale and many demonstrators will also offer their wares for purchase. Kerri Farley (October 04, 2016 07:54:53 AM): New River Nature is excited to be one of the Artisans at this Festival. This will be our first year. We will have Nature Photography and Hand crafted Solid Wood Frames. Fingers crossed for Good Weather!!!

Bob Cianflone (October 08, 2015 02:37:43 PM): The day will be great, the artisans will be amazing, the performers will be enjoyable, and the apple butter will be fantastic - I remember enjoying it last year. Coming from Brunswick, Maryland, and we have 68 people with us, staying in the cabins therein. And we plan on taking many delicious apples home with us!

Michael Coyle (October 06, 2015 01:14:41 PM): Do you think the A-standard camp sites will be suitable for tent camping this weekend?

Virginia State Parks (October 03, 2015 11:08:54 AM): Usually not. Most vendors have busy schedules this time of year so it would be hard to reschedule. Hopefully after the nasty weather this weekend next weekend will be beautiful.

Samantha Reynolds Crews (October 03, 2015 07:00:44 AM): Will festival be rescheduled due to the weather?
