Colors of Hungry Mother

Come out to Hungry Mother State Park, October 9-11, 2015, for the Colors of Hungry Mother Fall Festival.
The park has set aside an entire weekend dedicated to celebrating the stunning fall foliage. How lucky are we to live in a world where there are Octobers? Especially like Octobers in Southwest Virginia. The air begins to cool and crisp. The trees give off their last burst of color before they begin their deep winter sleep. The rolling hills of the mountains pop with vibrant shades of scarlet red, glowing orange, and dazzling yellow. Here is just a glimpse of the spectacular views that are available at the park.
