On July 1, 2009, DCR's soil and water conservation regions will change. They were last changed more than 10 years ago. The new alignment results from two years of study, including an evaluation done in collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth University. The change will improve service to DCR's clients and improve internal efficiencies, such as travel expense and staffing distribution.
