This dataset is a work in progress and represents our most up to date attribute information.

Logical_Consistency_Report:

The Conservation Lands database includes property boundaries created by DCR and a variety of other entities. Source boundaries are not edge matched unless they are created by DCR. Polygon overlap and other toplogical inconsistencies are likely. Please reference the boundary accuracy assessment code if overlap is of particular concern in an area of interest.

All digital boundaries were geo-referenced (if necessary) and projected to decimal degrees/geographic, NAD83. Attributes were standardized and new attribtute fields were added. Refer to original datasets for the original attributes. No boundaries received in digital format were corrected (edgematched) to eliminate overlap with other holdings, etc. Any manipulation to existing boundaries is described in the lineage section. DCR ownership boundaries were digitized using best available sources, which often includes digital surveyor data. Please see bndorigin and bndaccuracy attribute fields for more detailed information per boundary.
