DCR is mapping the boundaries of Virginia properties protected by perpetual conservation easements held by conservation organizations. To achieve the goal of a comprehensive database, we must rely on Virginia's land trusts and conservation organizations to provide maps and information. This database is designed as a shared resource with a goal of promoting collaboration and more efficient conservation planning. If you'd like to add a property to the database we need the following information per land unit: * A USGS topographic
map (or a legible photocopied section, please don't enlarge or reduce
maps) with an accurate delineation of the easement boundary. Please make
delineations with a thin line using a standard pen (no markers) and label
photocopies with the name of the USGS topographic map. * A completed copy of this information form for each land parcel numbered to match the corresponding delineation on the map. * If available, additional
maps, including plat and survey maps, will allow us to make the most accurate
representation possible for each property. 1. This property is protected by (please circle one) Easement Ownership 2. Do GIS boundaries
