Mountain fetterbush (Eubotrys recurvus, foreground) is one of the diagnostic species of the Southern Appalachian chestnut oak forest in Virginia; it ranges north only to Giles, Roanoke, and Floyd counties. Near summit of Brushy Mountain northwest of Bland in Bland County.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
