The red, autumnal hues of black huckleberry (Gaylussacia baccata) punctuate a stand of scarlet oak (Quercus coccinea), chestnut oak (Quercus montana), and white oak (Quercus alba) on a southern Piedmont upland.  Prince Edward-Gallion State Forest, Prince Edward County.
