Coastal Plain Mixed Oak / Heath Forest – CEGL006269

A dry, infertile oak/heath forest of white oak (Quercus alba), southern red oak (Quercus falcata), and some loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) over shrub thickets of dangleberry (Gaylussacia frondosa).  On rolling upland of the inner Coastal Plain in Caroline County, Fort A.P. Hill Military Reservation.
