Central Appalachian Basic Ash - Hickory Woodland – CEGL003683

Peters Mountain mallow (Iliamna corei) is endemic to the basic woodland on Peters Mountain north of Narrows in Giles County.  This single-known population had seriously declined by 1990, but has been reinvigorated by prescribed burning.  The Nature Conservancy Narrows Preserve.
