Central Appalachian Basic Ash - Hickory Woodland – CEGL003683

Well developed sods over metagabbro outcrops support dense and diverse herbaceous vegetation in a basic woodland.  At northeast end of Grassy Hill, just north of Rocky Mountain in Franklin County.
