Central Appalachian Woodland Seep - CEGL006258

A strongly flowing montane woodland seep at Chalybeate Spring near Milford Gap on Massanutten Mountain, Shenandoah County.  Two-leaved miterwort (Mitella diphylla), eastern shooting star (Primula meadia), and marsh blue violet (Viola cucullata) are abundant species here.  Lee Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
