Nearly pure stand of even-aged northern white-cedars (Thuja occidentalis), with a few hemlocks (Tsuga canadensis), on a calcareous sandstone slope along Dismal Creek in Giles County.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
