Spring Pond, a 5-acre, permanently inundated, spring-fed basin in the Maple Flats sinkhole pond complex, dominated by aquatics such as golden club (Orontium aquaticum) and water bulrush (Schoenoplectus subterminalis).  Photo taken in August 1992, prior to a major disturbance by beavers.
