Central Appalachian High-Elevation Acidic Nonvascular Boulderfield - CEGL004389
One of several high-elevation boulderfields on the western brow of Jack Mountain southwest of Doe Hill in northern Highland County.  This boulderfield occurs at 4350 ft elevation in a matrix of red spruce (Picea rubens) and scrubby northern hardwoods.
