Central Appalachian Low-Elevation Acidic Nonvascular Cliff / Boulderfield – CEGL004142
A several-acre quartzite boulderfield composed of relatively fine, loose rubble. Patches of both the rock-tripe Lasallia pensylvanica and golden moonglow lichen (Dimelaena oreina) are frequent on the boulders.
