Yellow birch (Betula alleghaniensis), eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis), and great rhododendron (Rhododendron maximum) in a high-elevation acidic cove forest along Fox Creek at north foot of Hurricane Mountain in Grayson County.  Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
