Wood nettle (Laportea canadensis) and mountain black cohosh (Actaea podocarpa) densely co-dominate a high-elevation rich cove forest at the headwaters of Straight Fork, below Camp Rock on Stone Mountain in Wise County.  Clinch Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
