Coastal Plain Depression Swamp (Willow Oak - Red Maple - Sweetgum Type) – CEGL006110
Seasonal flooding in the large depression swamps at Powhatan State Park can persist well into the summer in wet years.  The dominant shrub in this stand is fetterbush (Eubotrys racemosus) while the patchy graminoid is cypress-swamp sedge (Carex joorii). Near Beaumont, Powhatan County.
