DCR is looking for talented people to fill positions listed below. Unless otherwise stated in the job announcement, to be considered for a listed position, you must complete and submit an electronic state application by the close date stated in the job announcement.

2013 Seasonal Positions at Shenandoah River State Park

Shenandoah River State Park in Bentonville Virginia has summer employment opportunities as follows:

Maintenance Rangers ~ $8.00: duties will include grounds maintenance, cleaning cabins and restrooms. May be required to perform other park-related duties during emergencies or on non-recurring basis. Must have a valid Virginia Driver's License

Housekeeping ~ $8.00: Primary focus includes proper cleaning cabins and day use restrooms. Efficient turnover of cabins by check-in time. A valid driver's license is required.

Contact Rangers ~ $8.00: duties will include collecting fees and maintaining records (by computer) for cabin and camping reservations, arrivals and departures

Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Hours are not to exceed 1500 hours a year.
