Sky Measows SP - Maintenance Ranger (Trades Technician II) - Wage/Hourly - Open Until FIlled
Maintenance Ranger (Trades Technician II)
Performs recurring grounds care, maintenance, light construction, trail work and other tasks necessary to operate state park facilities. Informs visitors of park rules and regulations.
Applicants must be able to work in outdoor conditions and have a valid driver's license.
Successful candidate must be able to work in unfavorable weather conditions and work a varied schedule of weekends, holidays, days, and evenings.
Some knowledge of farm equipment and implements, hand and power tools, and trail work required. Supervision experience is preferred. Must be able to work well with other staff and with park guests. Applicant must have the ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions, work in team environment, attend mandatory training, and comply with OSHA requirements.
Position is limited to working a maximum of 1500 hours in a 12 month period from May 1 to April 30. No benefits are associated with this position.
