Trades Technician I (Wage Position) Sailor's Creek Battlefield State Park Closes 2/15/13
Closes On: 02/15/2013The Trades Technician I - Maintenance Ranger performs recurring grounds care, landscaping, maintenance, light construction, and cleaning tasks necessary to operate State Park facilities. This includes cleaning restrooms, mowing grass, raking/removing leaf debris, trash and litter removal, restoration/preservation of historical and cultural structures, displays and exhibits. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools required. Qualifications: Must be 16 years old, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have general knowledge of the use and care of common hand tools and cleaning supplies, ability to organize and perform routine cleaning and maintenance functions. Must be able to work independently as a self-starter or as an active team member as necessitated by daily priorities. Successful candidates must be available to work weekends, all holidays and occasional evening shifts.
