DCR is looking for talented people to fill positions listed below. Unless otherwise stated in the job announcement, to be considered for a listed position, you must complete and submit an electronic state application by the close date stated in the job announcement.

High Bridge Trail State Park Trades Tech II -Maintenance Ranger - Wage, - Open Until Filled

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to maintenance of grounds,
facilities, and equipment. The ability to work independently or in teams,
communicate effectively. Perform basic maintenance functions of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical is necessary. Familiarization with small engine repair, tractor operation, and light construction is preferred. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to providing customer information as required to ensure excellent customer service; work with grounds workers to ensure completion of tasks; light equipment and vehicle maintenance; trail maintenance and repair; communicate as needed over park two way radio systems. Successful candidate must be able to work in unfavorable weather conditions and work a varied schedule of weekends, holidays, days, and evenings. Applicant must have the ability to understand simple verbal and written instructions, attend mandatory paid training and comply with OSHA requirements. Valid Driver's License Required.

Position is limited to working 1500 hours in a 12 month period from May 1 to
April 30. No benefits are associated this position.
