2008 Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant Awards

Introduction:

The purpose of the Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant is to reduce non-point source pollution into state waters and the Chesapeake Bay. The grants focus on improving water quality in impaired waterways. This year the purpose of the grants is to provide funding for land development ordinance reviews that identify and promote measures for environmentally sensitive development and also to provide funding for low-to-moderate income septic tank pump-out assistance.

DCR awarded the grants in February. Please go to our Grants page to learn more about the programs and localities that received the grants.

NFWF Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund

The Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund (CBSF) partners with the Chesapeake Bay Program to strategically invest in conservation actions to restore the Chesapeake Bay. For more information on CBSF projects please view the list of 2008 grants and view the interactive map of these grants.
