The purpose of the Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant is to reduce non-point source pollution into state waters and the Chesapeake Bay. The grants focus on improving water quality in impaired waterways. This year the purpose of the grants is to provide funding for land development ordinance reviews that identify and promote measures for environmentally sensitive development and also to provide funding for low-to-moderate income septic tank pump-out assistance.
DCR awarded the grants in February. Please go to our Grants page to learn more about the programs and localities that received the grants.
